[ S T Y L E ] The Devil Wears Prada

It’s quite obvious where I got my inspiration for my look today.  I recently re-watched “The Devil Wears Prada” and how can one not be drawn to the stylish editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly.   I guess the devil in SL wears Legendaire!  🙂  I am wearing a new release, a stylish coat dress.  It comes with a HUD pre-loaded with 4 different patterns.  I picked the classic check pattern.  The sleek thigh-high boots are included in the set.  The hair is new from dafnis.  I absolutely love this hair.  It’s always so exciting to find a stylish short hair!

[ S T Y L E ] Geometric White

My look today is very minimalist but I am loving the simplicity of it.  The geometric print skirt adds an interesting dimension to the overall look.  This skirt is new from alaskametro<3, an exclusive for Fashion Dazzle.  The skirt is available in three different prints.  Each skirt comes with a HUD pre-loaded with three different colors.  I chose to wear white version today… so warm and cozy!

[ R O L E P L A Y ] Kyoto

There are a lot of sims inspired by Japan.  I had the pleasure of visiting Kyoto Kagai today.  It’s a great sim beautifully decorated with lots of interesting little shops and places to visit and look around.  If you are looking for a Japanese backdrop, this could be the perfect place for you.  Anyways, for the journey, I pulled out this kimono I picked up a while back.  I love the modern geometric print on this kimono.  The hairstyle is new from kisetsu available at Sanarae along with the hair ornaments I am wearing today.   Check out my glittery stars and moon on my face.  These are gacha appliers from Livia.

[ S T Y L E ] Frida

I came across a little video clip uploaded on Facebook by Rebel Girls showing 5 Halloween costumes for ambitious girls inspired by real women.  One of the suggestions was Frida Kahlo which inspired me to put together my look of the day.  I took style elements from Frida Kahlo such as the flower wreath, drop earrings and statement necklace to create the look.  The corset dress is new from Entice.  I thought it was perfect to create the mood although it is not exactly what Frida was seen wearing.   This is my take, my own interpretation of Frida Kahlo.

Dreaming Thicket is one of the four brands Anachron is splitting up into.  I recently featured Kisetsu, the first of four.  Dreaming Thicket will specialize in medieval/fantasy roleplay items.  The first release under Dreaming Thicket is this beautiful medieval gown available at We ❤ Role-Play.  The gown is available in six different colors.  Recently I am drawn to shades of blue, so here I am wearing the blue version.  The jewelry is also new from Moondance Boutique.  It was just available at the XXX Event which just closed down few hours ago.  The set however should be available at the main store very soon.  Note the jewelry at Moondance comes with HUD which allows to you to customize your jewelry in multiple color combinations.  It’s very convenient!
