I am a Virtual Diva! I recently joined the Virtual Diva team as an official blogger and I can’t be more excited. For my first post, I picked out this gorgeous raven gown, an exclusive at Swank event this month. The silhouette of the gown is just perfection. When a gown is so beautiful, you really don’t need much accessories. I decided to keep it simple with an editorial high fashion hair style to complement the look. Make up is quite basic, red lips and neutral eyeshadows, all new from Livia.
I am in love with the new gacha set by alaskametro<3, “Lady Venom”. As many of you know, I have been a big fan of alaskametro<3 cosmetics since its early days. This brand which started of with nail polish has branched out to variety of cosmetic appliers as well as skins. The “Lady Venom” gacha is available at On9. The gacha set includes skin appliers in three different tones, eyeshadow, three different variations of dark lipsticks, and glittery nail applier. It’s L$50 a pull so have fun! The gown I am wearing today is from none other than Tiffany Designs. Once again it’s a perfect combination between applier and mesh… so beautiful and so elegant. The diamond drop earrings and necklace are included.
I bring you more Halloween costume suggestions. In RL, I don’t like wasting my money on costumes. If I buy anything I would like the option of being able to wear it on other occasions not just on Halloween. You can pick up an everyday wear and accessorize with Halloween items to create your costume. I picked this beautiful black lace gown from Tiffany Designs. It’s not an everyday item, but I certainly can wear it for any special occasion. The dress is just beautiful and without all the Halloween accessories and make up it would be perfect for any formal event. Today however I added opulent hairstyle decorated with skulls and roses from Tameless, Sugar Skull make up and nails from Livia to create my spooky bride look. Are you getting ready for Halloween yet?
Sunday evening… I was invited to a small private formal event, an engagement party of a dear friend. Below is what I ended up wearing, a beautiful strapless gown from Legendaire, worn with the necklace that was included. I added simple pearl studs and kept the look simple. My hairstyle is from Monso, a new release for Collabor88. My make up is from Livia, metallic shine for eyes and lips. By the way I think I found my favorite eyes. These are new from Musa!
This is a recreation of an old post I did years ago back in July 2010 titled “Princess of Arabia.” The look has been updated with this beautiful new release from Tiffany Designs. It’s an applier clothing with flexi and mesh attachments. It’s available in various colors, but my favorite is this deep blue jewel tone. The jewelry including the head piece is included which makes styling very easy for those who are lazy to be searching through inventory for the right jewelry and accessories. I had quite fun recreating my own look from the past. Perhaps I should make this a blogger challenge or make it a regular theme in my blog. Just a thought…
Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday where families and friends gather to remember the dead and pray for their safe spiritual journey. Not to be confused with Halloween, Dia de los Muertos is more a day to remember the deceased. If the pumpkin Jack O’Lantern represents Halloween, the skull symbolizes the Dia de los Muertos. You can find this vivid skull make-up by Entice at The Makeover Room. It’s only available as an Omega applier but most mesh heads are now Omega compatible. The beautiful jewel tone gown is also from Entice on sale at Designer Showcase along with this gorgeous jewelry set from Moondance Boutique.
My long time friend Mimify Loon is back from her break and reopened her store PureStyle. She is currently holding a special Halloween sale, with special sale on orange items. Price ranges from L$1 to L$10. The sale runs till the end of the month, so there is plenty of time for you to check it out. The dress I am wearing is one of many you can pick up at her store. This one was only L$1.
