Romance

February is just around the corner, and love is in the air.  With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, a lot of designers have started releasing flirty and romantic outfits celebrating “Love.”  The “Seranade Dress” from Snowpaws is perfect for that romantic dinner date.  It’s not overly sexy, but it shows off the female curves in a suggestive elegant way. The shoes are a perfect match to the dress, also a new release from Snowpaws.  The dress actually comes with a scarf which I chose not to wear.  Instead I chose this rose necklace, matching earrings and bracelet as accessories.  These are new from Zuri Jewelry, just in time for the month of romance.  The bag I am carrying is a vintage!  It’s one of my favorites and could not delete from my inventory.  It comes with a built-in AO for the bag, which is quite convenient.  I wish other bag makers would do the same.

The make-up is new, from Deluxe Body Factory for Sixty Linden Sunday.  The applier comes with one other make up option, but you can choose to wear the eyeshadows separately from the lipsticks, enabling you to mix and match different combinations to your liking.  My hairstylist today is Elikatira, a special I picked up during Fifty Linden Friday just few days ago.  I am sure I will be wearing my hair like this quite often.  I love it!  I leave you with one last shot of my full outfit.  Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Lounging Around

I have been a bit sick the last couple of days, so I have been staying home and resting, catching up on sleep.  I feel so much better today, much more energetic.  At least I am feeling well enough to blog, and play around in SL.  🙂  I do plan to spend the weekend at home though, just taking it a bit easy until I am fully recovered.  Thus, today’s look is all about comfort.

I received these wearable poses “Kitty Love” from Jinx for review.  They are exclusive gatcha items for Fair Play which runs between Feb 1 and Feb 27.  Above is the “Kitty Footstool”; below is “Kitty Sofa”.   Both are common items that come as a wearable and a rezzable.  Wearable comes with only one pose, but the rezzable has three integral poses.  How cute are they?  There are also a “Kitty Chair” and “Kitty Ottoman” not pictured which are also very cute.

The rug below “Kitty Love Rug” is a rare item.  It comes with a rezzable version and an HUD to change the colors of the rug and the kitties.  I love this one.  Another rare item is the “Kitty Love HUD” which allows you to change the colors of the furniture and the kitties of the common items.   It’s only L$75 to play.  These items are perfect for any kitty lovers.

Caracas

As many of you know, I am not a big fan of wearing mini dresses with bare legs.  I much prefer to wear leggings or a pair of jeans under the dress for extra coverage.  Today instead of jeans or leggings, I chose to wear tights.  These heart print tights are so cute; they tone down the sexiness of the outfit.  The mini dress & jacket combination “Caracas” is from Ch’s Designs.  The boots are included.  It comes with a HUD which allows you to choose different color options for the jacket and boots, as well as choose appliers for different mesh bodies, all in one HUD, which is very convenient.  🙂  Anyways, it’s a short post today as I am not feeling all that well.  I need to get some sleep!

Tania

It’s always so exciting to see the new releases from Amarelo Manga.  This time around Amarelo Manga released a collection of beautiful winter coats.  I am wearing Tania, an A-line coat dress in a herringbone pattern, tailored to enhance the curves of the female body.   The hoodie is not actually wearable but it’s a nice detail, with just enough furry details for that cozy warm look.  I just added a pair of basic boots worn with a pair of lovely heart print stockings.  For accessories, I am just wearing a pair of lovely earrings.  These are new from IT!  Have you noticed I have been wearing the same make up combination the past couple of posts?  I just love this makeup combination on me. 🙂

Back to Work

It’s Sunday night for me, and I am dreading the start of the week.  I have lots of meetings and conference calls scheduled this week.  Before I go to bed, I wanted to share another office look.  Actually this look would not be too appropriate for my work place in RL.  As I have mentioned before, I work in a very conservative company, and this plunging neckline and the bright colors would not cut it.  However, I think it’s quite appropriate for a more creative work atmosphere such as a fashion magazine publishing company or design company.

Check out the details of this bag.  It’s actually one of my favorites and resembles my work bag in RL.  I am also loving the heels.  I have worn them before, in white & black combo, here.  I have accessorized with pearl jewelry.  The whole look is chic and put together.  You can even wear it to dinner on a date, possibly even on Valentine’s Day… though I much prefer to avoid any red or pink on Valentine’s Day.  🙂

I Miss Spring!

It’s freezing cold in Seoul, and we are expecting -18ºC in temperature… So, I decided to let myself forget about the brittle Winter weather, and wear something airy and light in Second Life.  This new release from Snowpaws is just perfect.  The “Windswept Dress” is a new release available at The Secret Affair till the end of the month.  The dress is so delicate, and feminine.  The head piece is also included.

The shoes (if you could call these shoes) are from Venus Shoes.  These are fairly new too.   It looks quite painful to wear, but in SL we don’t have to worry about these things.  The chains, heart locket and spike heel can be customized via HUD with lots of color options to match any outfit.  I had quite a lovely day today in this outfit, relaxing with my little animal friends, enjoying nature.  I used a pose from Jinx for the picture below.  The props for the pose are included.  All you have to do is add/wear and you will pose in position.  Note I had to adjust my hand position a little bit because the dress was poking through. Anyways, I hope this cold weather passes through…  Spring come quickly!

Karma

I found this really cool club called Club Karma.  I love the industrial decor, with repurposed vintage pieces.   The music was great too.  I had a great time dancing and just hanging out.  I am a bit of a loner in SL.  Often times, I like to park my avie in a club and work on my blog listening to music.  If you spot me at a club and I happen to ignore you, it’s not because I want to be rude or I dislike you.  I am probably not paying attention to chats.  Anyways, for the occasion, I wore another outfit I picked up from the Black or White Hunt 2.  This bodysuit is from Cheeky Parrot Boutique.  It comes with a lace bolero which I am not wearing.  The jewelry set is also a gift from Black or White Hunt 2, from Emerald Couture.   I went with a bit of color in my hair choice today.  This hairstyle is from Wasabi Pills, a special for Fifty Linden Friday.  The eye-make up is also new, a group gift from SlackGirls.  It comes with multiple appliers (Lelutka, Catwa, Omega, etc.) so make sure you pick this one up.

WHITE

Today’s gown is another example of the wonderful gifts available for Black or White Hunt 2.  This white sequin gown is from Dark Water Designs.  It comes with a matching men’s suit.  Perhaps I should make a male alt and start blogging some men’s items too!  😛  I wouldn’t know where to start.  Anyways, I love the optional bustle bow detail of the dress, which obviously can be detached if you prefer.  I am wearing the earrings I wore previously to my dinner date, also a gift from the hunt.

The shoes are also new, but these are not from the hunt.  They are a new release from Venus Shoes.  It comes with a HUD with multiple color options which you can play around to customize to your liking.   These are also great for work, or can be worn with a flirty dress on a date.  Today, I stayed indoors; instead used this tip jar (also a gift from the hunt) as background.  I think it adds a bit of nostalgic black and white movie feel.  Perhaps it’s just me~  🙂

Black & White Dollie

It’s been a while since I dressed up like a doll.  I think the last time was for a photoshoot with Voshie Paine from La Petit Morte.  Almost five years later, here I am again dressed up like a little doll in this cute dress from Hapi*Rabi.  This is also one of the many great gifts you can find as part of Black or White Hunt 2.  I am wearing a pair of black boots from Lindy Shoes, also part of Black or White Hunt 2.  I sound like a broken record, but there are some great items at this hunt so give it a try.  The hunt is on till the end of month.  The jewelry set is from IT!.  It was released during the year end holidays, but I never got a chance to show it off until today.  I am quite happy with my look today.  Although it’s not something I would wear on a daily basis, there is something quirky and fun about it.  Anyways, I still have lots of goodies from Black or White Hunt 2 to show you… so check back tomorrow!

Kitty Hat

I finally managed to log into SL for more than few minutes and snap some pictures of new goodies.  The outfit is from Ignition Art, available at Gen-Neutral.  It comes with multiple colors options on an HUD, perfect casual look to stroll around town.  I added some scarf, which I have worn multiple times already, also from Ignition Art.  The hat is also new, from Monso.  It’s so cute!  It’s available at Kustom 9.  There is a white version available which is really adorable too!

The bag and shoes are old items in my inventory.  I have worn these sneakers multiple times in different color combinations.  The bag has been sitting in my inventory for quite sometime but never really had a chance to show them off.  It’s also HUD driven, with multiple color combinations.  These days it’s almost a must for designers to offer multi color options in HUD, but in all honesty I only use some basic combinations and sometimes wonder if having all these color options is actually necessary… something to think about~  Anyways, today’s make up is updated versions of existing make up appliers by alaskametro<3.  As you know, alaskametro<3 is one of my favorite make-up artists in SL.  She just recently updated and recolored her make-ups.  Check them out!
