It’s one of those rare occasions I feature lingerie in my blog. I feel quite naked and exposed but I get the courage when I find such a beauty. This bra and panties set is an applier lingerie from alaskametro<3. The best thing is that it is free! The set is part of the monthly hunt prizes at Free Dove. alaskametro<3 is offering 10 hunt prizes this month for Free Dove. 6 of them are at Free Dove, and the remaining 4 are alaskametro<3 main store. Note you need to be part of The Free Dove group to participate. The prizes include not only this lingerie, but also skins, nail polish, lipsticks, and eyeshadows. I am wearing some of the prizes today.
The wait for a new release from Tiffany’s Design has been worth it! I absolutely love this new dress… “Sophia” is so playful and elegant. It’s available in a variety of beautiful colors but I think this peachy cream color suits my dark skin very well. The matching golden thigh high boots are also from Tiffany’s Design. I am sure I will be wearing these quite often, especially with all those micro mini dresses which are so common in SL. 🙂 I added some classic pearls from Zuri Jewelry. For hair, I went with an elegant up-do from Fireflight. For make-up, I stuck with alaskametro<3 and Arte. By the way, I finally managed to tweak my shape for Catwa’s Sofia. It looks so much like my Kimberly shape. I don’t even know why I bothered buying a new head. 😛
With SL giving me so much trouble this weekend, I spent most of the weekend binge watching TV series on Netflix including 2017 remake of the 80’s prime time soap opera “Dynasty.” The few episodes I watched was so-so but I still put together this outfit inspired by the fashion in the series. The stylish power shoulder mini dress is from LUXE Paris to be showcased at the upcoming fashion show “Eclat Des Fetes” on November 25 at 11am SLT. It’s been a while since I have attended a fashion show in SL, so I am looking forward to this event. 🙂 I remember the days when I used to strut the runway praying to the gods of lag for smooth sailing. Hopefully I will be able to take some pictures of the show!
I have always been fascinated with the 70’s. It’s such a glamorous era… the fashion, the music… When I saw this new hair from Alli&Ali, I immediately knew I wanted to pay homage to Saturday Night Fever with my look of the day. The dress is new from La Gazza Ladra available at On9. Note La Gazza Ladra closed its main store in SL but it will continue release new releases at events, so if you like this dress make sure you head out to On9 before it ends. I am hoping Bombolini will open a store in marketplace so we can still enjoy her past creations. The glamorous jewelry is from Moondance Boutique. SL was not very friendly and I had issues with rendering this weekend. I had to skip on the necklace. It’s truly beautiful and hopefully I will be able to show you how gorgeous the set it. One last thing, the nail polish is from Livia, an exclusive at Scala The Yin/Yang Event… so perfect with this outfit! Love it!
Have you seen this new outfit from Legendaire? It’s called Thanksgiving Dinner. It’s a cropped top and skirt set, so sexy and feminine. It comes with a HUD loaded with 4 different textures for the top and 4 different textures for the skirt. I picked out the purple flower print for my post today. I am really loving this look! I personally think the look is more appropriate for a dinner date than dinner with the family. Note the glass slippers are included in the outfit. For jewelry, I went with Moondance Boutique, a dainty diamond and pearl set.
This dress would not be my first choice but I wanted to have a bit of fun with something different. I am still largely influenced by all the RuPaul’s Drag Race which I have been binge-watching lately on Netflix. I feel like a sexy diva!
For today’s post I had a bit of fun playing around with drag make up. I found this shop called Dotty’s Secret which specializes on drag queen make up and I felt like a little girl in a candy store. I have a big respect for drag queens. There is so much talent and dedication on what they do. Anyways, today I am a queen of the darkness. The gown I am wearing is from Dreaming Thicket for Enchantment, inspired by the evil queen in Snow White. I am wearing two different headpieces to create a more dramatic effect. My jewelry is new from Moondance Boutique available at XXX Event.
