Some times I wonder into the most beautiful places by luck. The blue skies and the ambient music at Strings by Cica Ghost were captivating and I immediately returned wearing this gorgeous blue gown for some camera time. The gown is actually a new group gift from *VoguE*. I can never have enough gowns in my SL wardrobe. Gowns, formal dresses, fantasy wear, etc., are among my favorite things to wear. I don’t get many opportunities in RL to wear a formal dress so I make the most out of my SL wardrobe. 🙂 The necklace and earrings are new from Glitzz, an exclusive item at Vintage & Cool Fair. I also picked up this exclusive shoes at the fair as well. They are from Essenz. As you know, I have become a big fan of this store, so I am sure you will be seeing me wearing their shoes quite a bit!
Today I bring you a bit of glamour with this seductive dress I found at Vintage & Cool Fair. I was actually searching for a basic LBD but I haven’t been able to find anything suitable yet. A plunging neckline, sheer lace, and fitted pencil skirt… what’s there not to love about this outfit. The best thing is that the lace top, the skirt and the ribbon belt can be worn separately, enabling me to mix and match with other items in my wardrobe. I kept accessories simple with a pair of new earrings I picked up the fair as well. Make-up I went a bit more heavy than usual. The look just screamed red lips and smokey eye make up, with luscious full body hair. Let’s not forget about shoes, classic pumps with a bit of twist, from Essenz. I love this store!
I have been working on rebuilding my wardrobe, especially around my mesh body. Because I like to mix and match, I started off with some very basic must haves. This is my updated model casting call outfit. Some modeling agencies and designers have specific requirements which one should follow, but if there is no preference I like to show up in a simple outfit and light make-up with my hair pulled back. I think models should be like a blank canvas for designers to show off their creations, and overly styled looks or heavy make up can be a distraction to their vision. My outfit is very simple, basic white tank top, dark fitted jeans, and a pair of basic heels.

After so many years off the grid, I need to start fresh. I have been sorting through inventory, deleting obsolete items, updating my modeling portfolio, and working on improving my blog. With all these things in mind, I have decided to move my blog to Wix. This new platform allows me to display my pictures separately in a more appealing way. It’s my own website. Yay! The main focus will still be fashion of course, but there is so much more in Second Life. With all these self-promises and curiosity over what lies ahead of me, I am starting my first post in this new blog set-up with my self-portrait. I am an Asian model, and despite all the skin options out there, my favorite is still Curio’s Jasmine. I don’t think it’s available anymore and I had a hard time matching the skin tone to my Maitreya mesh body. However, it is my signature look and until I find a better alternative, it will be my base skin for now. If you have any suggestions on Asian skins which are compatible with Maitreya mesh body, please let me know!!!

Self control is indeed what I need these days. After my recent return to SL, I have been going crazy with all the releases I missed over the years. SL has changed so much, and most of my clothes and shoes have become very outdated. Before hitting new stores on the grid, I have been checking out the stores I am familiar with such as Bare Rose. I believe it was one of the very first stores I spent my hard earned camping money. I was hoping to find outfits for my new updated Maitreya mesh body but I was out of luck. I did bring home this mesh outfit “Self Control”. It’s circa early 2013, but I still love the colors and and the avant garde feel. I had a bit of hard time fitting it properly to my shape, especially on the hips. My shape has very narrow hips already but I had to adjust it even smaller. I am old school so I am used to adjusting my shape to fit the clothes properly but with fitted mesh available I may become lazy! The make up I am wearing is from Madrid Solo, a new store for me. The store carries amazing range of make ups. This one is a group gift. I believe its free to join.

Hello again! After three to four years of being absent, I have finally returned showing a bit of skin in my new mesh body. It took me a few days to catch up on all the latest and certainly mesh bodies and mesh heads were on top of my list. After trying on a few demos, I chose Maitreya mesh body and I am absolutely loving my body shape. However, I wish there were a wider variety of designers who design for Maitreya mesh body. Given the growing popularity, I am sure this will be just a matter of time. For the time being, I managed to buy some clothes at the Mesh Body Addicts Fair, including this Bikini from Lakshmi. I also picked up a new Asian skin called Fae from Lumae at the fair. I love the dark eyes brows which go very nicely with my endless collection of dark hairs. This one is from Tukinowaguma, a welcome back gift from the lovely Kateforster Akina. If you are still unfamiliar with mesh bodies and/or you are still trying to make a decision, I found the mesh body dedicated blog, Mesh Body Addicts, very useful. FYI, the photos were hardly edited for this post.
