It’s quite obvious where I got my inspiration for my look today. I recently re-watched “The Devil Wears Prada” and how can one not be drawn to the stylish editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. I guess the devil in SL wears Legendaire! 🙂 I am wearing a new release, a stylish coat dress. It comes with a HUD pre-loaded with 4 different patterns. I picked the classic check pattern. The sleek thigh-high boots are included in the set. The hair is new from dafnis. I absolutely love this hair. It’s always so exciting to find a stylish short hair!
Check out Entice’s exclusive at Genre this month! “Lionhearted Girl” is a combination of mesh corset top and applier pants, along with mesh arm cuffs and vembraces. I went with menacing eyemake up. This one is new from Dulce Secrets. The weapon I am carrying is free, available at Jumo. I have featured Jumo in my blog before. It’s one of my favorite sims set in Ancient China.
Dreaming Thicket released a new sari at Genre. As I have mentioned before, Dreaming Thicket is one of the four new brands that split from Anachron recently. This brand is very promising and so far I am loving the releases under the new brand. The sari I am wearing today is an exclusive at Genre. It’s available in various colors, but lately I have been drawn to red hues. Check out my make up today. They are also new from Arte. Overall I went with red and golden tones for my look today, but my ring stands out. This beautiful cocktail ring is from Zuri Jewelry. I couldn’t resist. 🙂
This is just a quick post with some old items in my inventory… I have worn this outfit from Artizana before in a different color combination here. I love it so decided to feature it again. This time I styled it a bit different. The make-up is new from Arte. The eyes and lipstick were exclusives for Catwa Powder Pack September edition. The colorful eyeliner is a new release available at Applique. I love the contrast to my dark skin. This is one of my favorite skins from Pink Fuel, also a previous Catwa Powder Pack edition.
I came across a little video clip uploaded on Facebook by Rebel Girls showing 5 Halloween costumes for ambitious girls inspired by real women. One of the suggestions was Frida Kahlo which inspired me to put together my look of the day. I took style elements from Frida Kahlo such as the flower wreath, drop earrings and statement necklace to create the look. The corset dress is new from Entice. I thought it was perfect to create the mood although it is not exactly what Frida was seen wearing. This is my take, my own interpretation of Frida Kahlo.
Many of you know I love lace, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you I fell instantly for this new gown from The Annex. It’s just gorgeous… perfect for an evening formal event. Add some furs and pearls for extra glam!
