There are a lot of sims inspired by Japan. I had the pleasure of visiting Kyoto Kagai today. It’s a great sim beautifully decorated with lots of interesting little shops and places to visit and look around. If you are looking for a Japanese backdrop, this could be the perfect place for you. Anyways, for the journey, I pulled out this kimono I picked up a while back. I love the modern geometric print on this kimono. The hairstyle is new from kisetsu available at Sanarae along with the hair ornaments I am wearing today. Check out my glittery stars and moon on my face. These are gacha appliers from Livia.
It’s Friday and I am exhausted. It’s been a tough week at work. It’s time to kick off the heels and relax. I am so looking forward to the weekend. Anyways, before I log off I wanted to share Artizana’s new release available at Boho Culture Fair. It’s a combination of a cropped sweater and baggy pants. Artizana always has a way with patterns. I love it!
I came across a little video clip uploaded on Facebook by Rebel Girls showing 5 Halloween costumes for ambitious girls inspired by real women. One of the suggestions was Frida Kahlo which inspired me to put together my look of the day. I took style elements from Frida Kahlo such as the flower wreath, drop earrings and statement necklace to create the look. The corset dress is new from Entice. I thought it was perfect to create the mood although it is not exactly what Frida was seen wearing. This is my take, my own interpretation of Frida Kahlo.
I bring you more Halloween costume suggestions. In RL, I don’t like wasting my money on costumes. If I buy anything I would like the option of being able to wear it on other occasions not just on Halloween. You can pick up an everyday wear and accessorize with Halloween items to create your costume. I picked this beautiful black lace gown from Tiffany Designs. It’s not an everyday item, but I certainly can wear it for any special occasion. The dress is just beautiful and without all the Halloween accessories and make up it would be perfect for any formal event. Today however I added opulent hairstyle decorated with skulls and roses from Tameless, Sugar Skull make up and nails from Livia to create my spooky bride look. Are you getting ready for Halloween yet?
Sunday evening… I was invited to a small private formal event, an engagement party of a dear friend. Below is what I ended up wearing, a beautiful strapless gown from Legendaire, worn with the necklace that was included. I added simple pearl studs and kept the look simple. My hairstyle is from Monso, a new release for Collabor88. My make up is from Livia, metallic shine for eyes and lips. By the way I think I found my favorite eyes. These are new from Musa!
Flower Dreams Creations is a brand I came across at Fashion Dazzle and I am completely in love with the beautiful gowns this brand has to offer. I am wearing “How i love thee” in red, an exclusive for this month’s Fashion Dazzle event. It’s been a while since I have featured such magnificent gown consisting of applier clothing, multiple layers of skirts and veils. The specks of glowing hearts are a touch of fantasy. Love it!!!
The bodysuit made a come back in 2017. This one-piece item can be worn with pretty much everything, from your favorite jeans, micro mini shorts, long flowy skirts… or if you are daring like me just on its own. I am loving this one from dafnis with a plunging neckline and laced up detailing. The flower print is a nice softening touch. 🙂
