I think the title of my post today “Queen Daenerys” is quite self-explanatory.  My outfit today was inspired by Queen Daenerys from Game of Thrones.  I am so hooked…  It’s surprising I have not done a post inspired by Game of Thrones earlier.  The gown I am wearing is from Entice.  I accessorized with jewelry from Zuri Jewelry.  Queen Daenerys usually wears her hair in braids but I kept my hair long and simple.  🙂

Maroon Love

I am in love with this crochet lace overlay dress from alaskametro<3.  It comes with a HUD which allows you to change the background color of the dress: one color is the same as the crotchet, one is ivory (worn above), one is beige, and one is a darker camel color.  It can be worn alone as a dress, but I chose to wear some boot cut jeans under it.  The dress can be found at anyBODY this month.  The pair of jeans are from Somnia.  They are free at Free Dove.

alaskametro<3 also released some beautiful nail polish and eye make-up at On9.  As you know, I wear alaskametro<3 make up and nail appliers a lot.  They are by far one of my favorite make up artists in the grid.  Check out the nail art above, you can choose to wear all five designs at once, even on Maitreya hand.  You can always choose to wear one single design, but it’s trendier to wear mix-match nail art!  For closer look of the eye make-up, take a look below.  How gorgeous is that?  I absolutely love it.  The other color choices that come with the nail applier HUD and eye-make up HUD are gorgeous as well.  I am sure I will be wearing them quite often. 🙂

A Roman

I received this beautiful high waist gown from Amarelo Manga, and I immediately thought “Roma”.  I am having so much fun playing dress up. For today’s look, I accessorized with some statement jewelry pieces from Modern Couture, along with this golden laurel leaves crown also from Modern Couture.  I would have worn my hair down, but wanted to show you the back and the elegant cape of the dress.

I feel like a character out of Spartacus.  However, the location is a bit inaccurate because I shot my pictures at Ancient Greece…  but this is a style blog so I hope you at least enjoyed my styling despite such inconsistencies. 🙂

May The Force Be With You!

Star Wars Episode 7, I finally made it to the movies to watch this.  Don’t worry this is not a spoiler. 😛  I actually watched the past episodes during Christmas to refresh my memory ahead of watching Episode 7.   I never really enjoyed Episode 1, but Padme Amidala’s wardrobe left a lasting impression.  Her outfits were out of this world, so detailed and rich.  I am sure most Star Wars fan already know, but Padme’s regal style was inspired by traditional Mongolian royalty.

Today’s look was inspired by Padme.  I picked up this outfit from Bare@Rose and I thought it was just perfect to create the look, a traditional Mongolian royalty outfit called “Mongolian Khalkha”.  I thought I would have the most trouble finding the extravagant hairstyle, but the outfit comes with the headpiece which made the rest very easy.  I added some ethnic drop down earrings and war paintings on my face.  What do think?  Do I look like a character out of Star Wars? By the way, the photo location of today’s pictures is Byss, City of Khayal.  It’s actually a Star Wars role-playing sim, but you can still visit and look around.  It’s amazing!  Just make sure you attach your observer title so everyone knows you are just a visitor, and don’t interfere with any role-playing activities that may be ongoing.
