I am in love with the new gacha set by alaskametro<3, “Lady Venom”. As many of you know, I have been a big fan of alaskametro<3 cosmetics since its early days. This brand which started of with nail polish has branched out to variety of cosmetic appliers as well as skins. The “Lady Venom” gacha is available at On9. The gacha set includes skin appliers in three different tones, eyeshadow, three different variations of dark lipsticks, and glittery nail applier. It’s L$50 a pull so have fun! The gown I am wearing today is from none other than Tiffany Designs. Once again it’s a perfect combination between applier and mesh… so beautiful and so elegant. The diamond drop earrings and necklace are included.
Nothing very Asian about my outfit today, but the silhouette and demure posture reminds me of old Shanghai… This gorgeous gown is from Vero Modero. The HUD allows you to tint the gown in any color you may like. I chose bright green… I am just so drawn into bright color these days. 🙂
I received this beautiful high waist gown from Amarelo Manga, and I immediately thought “Roma”. I am having so much fun playing dress up. For today’s look, I accessorized with some statement jewelry pieces from Modern Couture, along with this golden laurel leaves crown also from Modern Couture. I would have worn my hair down, but wanted to show you the back and the elegant cape of the dress.
I feel like a character out of Spartacus. However, the location is a bit inaccurate because I shot my pictures at Ancient Greece… but this is a style blog so I hope you at least enjoyed my styling despite such inconsistencies. 🙂
I have been asked by Francesca Topaz from Swami to review her second shape in store. Why not? I don’t have many occasions to flaunt around in my underwear, and this gives me perfect excuse to do so. Topaz is very similar to Francesca, but she is shorter and curvier. The body proportions once again are very realistic, far more realistic than my own shape. This shape also has two types; one is shorter than the other. I am wearing the taller version with my Maitreya body. As I mentioned previously, shapes from Swami are no modify, so I have suggested to Francesca Topaz to provide demos. I believe she is still working to get those onto marketplace. Please note I have not retouched the photos at all, so you can see the shape and face exactly how I see them inworld. Check out the close up of the face. I am just wearing this month’s group gift skin from Wow Skins. I am not even wearing lashes, trying to minimize distraction from the facial features. What do you think? Cute and sexy?
The poses I have used today are from Icons of Style. I picked them up at Color Me Project. These poses will come in handy for year end party pictures. I thought it would be fun to add something different to the photos while still showing off the curves of the shape. Better than boring studio photos, no?
I am back! I took about a week off and enjoyed the sun in Southeast Asia. Southeast Asia is so beautiful, so rich in color. It was quite an inspiring trip and a good break from the cold weather and grey city life. The exotic spices and fruits kept me happy all week and the nature and scenery surrounding me was breathtaking. I tried to capture the colors and the mood from my trip in my pictures today. Amarelo Manga released this gorgeous ombre glittery gown while I was away, and it couldn’t be more perfect for my first post back. I kept accessories very simple as the gown is an eye-catcher on its own. For jewelry, I added very simple pearl earrings and a multi strand pearl bracelet. The nude heels does not distract from the dress. The ice cream clutch adds a bit of fun to the look.
I wanted to keep the overall look youthful and modern, so I chose this effortless ponytail from Vanity Hair, currently on sale at Hairology. A clean up do would be more formal but I thought it could be too pageantry or princess like. For make up I chose a bit of sparkle and color. The eye make up is new from alaskametro<3. I have raved about her make up appliers previously, and this new set available at anyBODY is perfect for the season, lots of glitter and color. I kept the lips neutral, just a bit of gloss, also from alaskametro<3. Please note Alaska will be raising her prices starting next year, so make sure you pick up your favorites now.
I just received a wedding invitation to my cousin’s wedding in two weeks. Korean weddings are far less formal, and most people show up in business attire since most wedding ceremonies are held during the day. You will hardly see anyone wearing cocktail dresses or fascinators. Some guests even show up wearing denim! Most Korean weddings are very short. It can be as short as 15 minutes to as long as a couple of hours. A number of guests just show up, pay their congratulatory money, sign the guest book, and leave. Some couples however host after-parties to celebrate with their friends after the wedding ceremony. This is where the fun begins. The look I am wearing is for the day time wedding ceremony: a modest pencil skirt in a fun popping color, with a feminine blouse in a neutral color to balance out the look overall. The blouse is from BOOM. The store is currently having a closing sale, 75% off. Sale will end as soon as the sim is signed over so head over now and check it out! There are a lot of cute accessories, clothes, and shoes!Luxurious accessories to complement the look: a croc bag, vintage jewelry, and my new patent pumps from alaskametro<3… These are Alaska’s first original mesh product! The shape is so classic and a must have for any wardrobe. It comes with a HUD for three color options: 2 solid and 1 ombre~ Ombre is actually my favorite, but I decided to go with a solid color today. Have you noticed I am wearing the same make up as my previous post? 😛 Hair makes a big difference. This one is from Vanity Hair, a marketplace hunt item! – CREDITS –

When I saw the new updates from Bax Coen, immediately, James Bond 007 series “Goldfinger” came to my mind, which is the inspiration behind today’s look. “Goldfinger” was released over 50 years ago, and I thought it would be fun to use items from my SL past. The swimsuit is an updated release from AlaskaMetro. This is one of her earlier designs which she recently updated with appliers for the mesh body. You can see an earlier picture of me wearing the same swimsuit here and here when it was originally released. I was pretty new to modeling, photography and styling. I even forgot to take my shoes off to take the picture in the sea!!! Anyways, the boots are also an upgrade of the famous Regency Boots, updated to fit different mesh bodies and feet. Check out the sparkle! Alaska Metropolitan and Bax Coen are two designers I had the pleasure of working for before, and I have enormous respect for them. I was so happy to see them still in SL. By the way, the hair is from Vanity Hair. It’s not old but the style is so 60’s, I couldn’t resist.
