Dalila

Today I bring you a bit of glam with this new gown “Dalila” from Amarelo Manga.  Exquisitely shaped, this spaghetti strap long dress is alluring and elegant.  The bold blue china print adds spice to a classic dress, making it more interesting and appealing.  Check out the dress train, not too overdone, just enough to feel like a diva!

I thought a fur stole would be appropriate for this glamorous look.  It’s not only functional but it’s also a quick way to add instant glam to any look.  Mine is from Plastix.  I accessorized with bold crystal drop earrings and cocktail ring from Paper Couture, and added some splash of color with a hot pink clutch from B.  I am wearing a pair of very simple pumps under the dress, although you can’t see them in the pictures.

For make up, I chose blue smoky eye make up and pink lips from Izzie’s.  My hairstylist is Elikatira, currently on sale at L$50 per color pack.  I have seen many other bloggers style this dress.  It’s quite fun seeing how others would wear the same piece of clothing or jewelry.  It can look so different depending how you style it.  Anyways, I hope you like my styling today~

Betta Mermaid

I stopped by Bare@Rose a couple of days ago to check out some of the new releases, and I ended up winning this mermaid outfit just for being at their sim.  There is a raffle picking one random winner every 4-5 minutes.  New exclusive raffle items are added frequently.  Apparently, there are about 50 different raffle items you can win.  These raffle items are generally no modify/no copy, thus you can give them away to your friends if you don’t want them.  I have always enjoyed dressing up as a mermaid, so this one is a keeper!

I used some old accessories in my inventory to style the look.  This complete set of jewelry is from Alienbear.  I don’t think Alienbear Gupta is designing anymore, but her inworld store is still open. Her intricate craftsmanship is still one of a kind.  I hope she returns again with some new designs.  Check out the details of her work, and these were designed over five years ago!  Until I find a suitable replacement, these will stay in my inventory.
