Christmas sweaters have never been a thing in my family. Some of my friends say I am lucky but I think I missed out! Today’s look is a comfortable outfit by Maci. The high-waist bell bottoms look so retro and stylish. I love how it looks with the sweater. I may even replicate this look in RL. 🙂
May is such a popular month for weddings. I think I have already been to 2-3 wedding already with a few more lined up for the rest of the month. I am running out of ideas for outfits to wear. I have so many more options in SL. Would you think that I was inappropriate or rude if I showed up in this outfit to your wedding? Times have changed but wedding ceremonies are so formal still. The cape blouse, the hat and jumpsuit are a set, a new exclusive release by Posh Pixels for Penumbra FW 2016. I am not much of a hat person but this is just gorgeous, perfect to glam up any outfit. I added bright pink pouch bag for an unexpected pop of color. I went with very neutral color shoes, but embellished with rhinestones for that special evening formal look. These shoes are new from TheBeautifulOnes.
Some of my friends said I should never wear pants to a wedding, that I should wear a dress. Perhaps it’s true, but I am sure my girlfriends won’t mind. 🙂
Today I stopped by Visions of Hope, an exhibition and silent auction to raise awareness for the survivor and caregiver support groups at “Hope Haven” on ACS Island and the “Hope Haven Heroes” RFL team. There are a number of talented artists participating with some exhilarating art pieces on display. It was certainly inspiring and a great way to spend time online. I wore a new outfit from Rowena’s Designs for the occasion. This tube top and sleeveless shirt dress combo comes with a HUD with different color options. The matching shoes are also new from Rowena’s Designs. I wanted to keep the look casual but edgy so went with a stud clutch and very short pixie hairstyle. I hope you like my look today, and make sure to check out Visions of Hope.
It’s been a while since I posted any work outfits in my blog, so today I bring you a casual business look for the office. If you work in a very conservative company, perhaps a less tight pair of pants would be more appropriate but this knit cardigan and white shirt combo is perfect for the office, especially for a more relaxed work environment. The cardigan + shirt combo is a The Breakfast at Tiffany’s Hunt 2 hunt gift from CuCu Clothes. It’s a single mesh item and it cannot be worn separately. However, it’s a classic timeless piece which can be worn with practically anything. Dress it up with a pencil skirt or dress it down with your favorite pair of denim. Note we are now in the last week of The Breakfast at Tiffany’s Hunt 2, so hurry before it ends.
Happy Chuseok! Chuseok is Korea’s mid Autumn harvest festival, sort of like Thanksgiving in the US. It’s that time of the year were families gather around and celebrate together. We get a few days off of work so most of us return to our hometowns. I usually travel abroad this time of the year, but this year I don’t have the luxury. I am actually stuck in Seoul. It’s not too bad. There is no traffic and thankfully the weather has been great~
Actually, today’s look has nothing to do with Chuseok. It’s a bit inappropriate for a family gathering especially with elders! It’s a look more appropriate for the evening, perhaps an after party of a fashion event or a cocktail party… At work in RL, we are organizing some events for the Busan International Film Festival, so I was inspired to put together a look one may wear to a gala dinner or drinks. The dress I picked is this lime color strapless combo with jewel accents on the waist. It’s from Lavian’s new fall collection. I love how it moves and the contrasting purple lining of the top adds spice. I just wish it could be worn separately! The earrings are from Modern Couture.
The clutch is from Swallow inspired by one of the most popular designs in RL. 🙂
The shoes are new from Glamistry. I bought the fatpack during a 24 hour special sale event. It comes with a HUD which allows you to customize according to your taste. I love customization, but I always end up with boring combinations…. 😛 I will try to be more creative next time.
For hair, I used the Lelutka hair base applier and attached booN mesh hair. It’s not a perfect match so I tried to tint the Lelutka hair base as closely I could. For make up, I went with neutral lips and bold eyes. The eye make up is from Nuuna, and I have worn them before in black, here. The lips are a free gift from Zodiaco I found on marketplace. The poses were free as well (perhaps they were $1L). Check out Verocity, currently having 50% off sale, but there is also a wall filled with lots of free/cheap poses. Anyways, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I have a few more days to play around so I may be back sooner than later. Ciao~
