This red gown from Virtual Diva Couture is one of my favorite pieces I have seen this season. It’s absolutely stunning! Style it with classic pearls for a perfect formal look for the holidays. Mine are from Zuri Jewelry, an old release but a classic piece I wear quite often. The dress has a lot of volume, so I pulled my hair in a simple updo with some fun make up to finish up the look.
Girly girly girly… this outfit from Bare@Rose is so cute. The set includes 5 different jackets, 2 different skirts, and 2 different inner shirt. There is a pair of shoes included which I chose not to wear. Instead I am wearing my new boots from Venus Shoes. These boots are amazing. They can be worn as boots show above, or as mary janes with or without knee high stockings. The hairstyle is new from Monso, available at Collabor88. I think it may have been inspired by Jeon So-Min, a popular Korean actress, actually more known for her comedic personality at the entertainment TV show, Running Man. She often wears her hair in braids at the show, but I could be wrong. 🙂
Wow! It’s been a busy week in RL. I am so glad the work week is over. Anyways, today I bring you a bit of Japan. The hairstyle is new from kisetsu, inspired by ofuku hairstyle. I am told ofuku hairstyles are hairstyles worn by senior maikos, i.e. generally maikos that are over 18 years old. Maikos are apprentice geiko. Geiko is a term generally used to refer to geishas from Kyoto. I am learning quite a bit about the geisha world. It’s quite fascinating. I didn’t realize you could tell the difference between maikos and geikos by looking at their hairstyles!
I bring you more Halloween costume suggestions. In RL, I don’t like wasting my money on costumes. If I buy anything I would like the option of being able to wear it on other occasions not just on Halloween. You can pick up an everyday wear and accessorize with Halloween items to create your costume. I picked this beautiful black lace gown from Tiffany Designs. It’s not an everyday item, but I certainly can wear it for any special occasion. The dress is just beautiful and without all the Halloween accessories and make up it would be perfect for any formal event. Today however I added opulent hairstyle decorated with skulls and roses from Tameless, Sugar Skull make up and nails from Livia to create my spooky bride look. Are you getting ready for Halloween yet?
I have been binge watching “Lucifer” on Netflix… You can see where I got my inspiration today! 😛 The show is more about crime solving police work than celestial beings but still the demonic element gives it a bit of an interesting twist. Anyways, the outfit I am wearing today is from KiB Designs. It will be available at The Darkness Event starting on Sept 5th. The set contains the gown, horned headpiece, horns (not worn) and wings. There is a matching male version available for you boys.
