Wow! It’s been a busy week in RL. I am so glad the work week is over. Anyways, today I bring you a bit of Japan. The hairstyle is new from kisetsu, inspired by ofuku hairstyle. I am told ofuku hairstyles are hairstyles worn by senior maikos, i.e. generally maikos that are over 18 years old. Maikos are apprentice geiko. Geiko is a term generally used to refer to geishas from Kyoto. I am learning quite a bit about the geisha world. It’s quite fascinating. I didn’t realize you could tell the difference between maikos and geikos by looking at their hairstyles!
I am bringing a bit of sweetness and innocence today. This dancer lace dress from Entice for 4Mesh is absolutely adorable. With the right accessories and make up it could be very high fashion and editorial, but I went with girly. I am feeling like a Barbie doll!
This stylish ensemble by Glitter is an example of what to expect at Fashion Dazzle this month. The combination of mesh jacket and applier dress is tres chic… something I would wear in RL. I especially like the discrete length of the skirt. So many outfits in SL are so short! This is a nice change.
Anachron will be splitting into 4 separate brands. It will still be the same designer Nix Marabana behind the four brands, but likely use alts for each brand. The first of the four new brands is kisetsu, focusing on traditional Japanese items. The hair accessories and bag are new releases under this new brand available at Sanarae and Kurenai. I am so excited to see what this brand has to offer in the future. I can’t wait~
Halloween is just around the corner… and this is one of many posts I will be dedicating to this fun tradition. I am starting off with something cute, not gory or gruesome. This cute PJ set is a hunt prize for The Boo! Bunny Hunt 6 from Del Alba Creations. The hunt prim is a candy and the hint is ” Give me pumpkins or give me death.” There is a male version available as well… so happy hunting everyone!
Today is the first day of golden week in Korea. We have literally 9 day holiday celebrating Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), National Foundation Day, and Hangul (Korean Alphabet) Day, all consecutively. I plan to spend these days relaxing and getting some sleep! Time to kick off the business suits and heels for comfortable clothes. In SL, I chose this stylish urban streetwear look from Legendaire. Legendaire offers such a wide variety of clothes, from formal wear to streetwear, but always very fashionable and colorful! Love this store~
I grew up listening to Madonna. I didn’t really understand the lyrics and honestly did not know what “Like A Virgin” truly meant till years later but I was fascinated by the way Madonna dressed… ripped fishnet stockings, bustiers, and layered necklaces. I was too young to be allowed to dress like her and by the time I became an adult I quickly realized it’s not really me. Anyways, I am reminiscing my childhood today… in this new outfit from Legendaire. The outfit includes shoes, studded jacket, skirt, corset, stocking, pearl necklace, and bouquet of flowers are included. The outfit also comes with curly hair which I am not wearing today. Instead I went with a sleek style from Exile.
