Once again, Lion Jonesford from Lion Skins has been extremely generous and offered all LeeZu! models a free skin of choice from her newest skin lines, Ying & Yang. I immediately TP-ed over to check them out and I fell absolutely in love with the variety of funky make ups. I picked out Ying Pale 10. The dark yet sultry plum shades of this skin inspired me to put together today’s outfit. The top is a combination of the Valerie Blouse and Mia Corset Pants/Dress, both from LeeZu!. I added basic pants from Michami, currently on sale, 50% off. Note Michami’s clothings are great basic staples to mix and match since her clothing come in all possible layers. I added classic pearls to keep the look elegant. My hair was kept short to show off my new make up!
Thanks Lion for your generosity! I love the variety of make up choices~ Go and check them out at her store.
One more thing, note the poses used today are from Glitterati, currently L$100 sale on model pose packs. There are some interesting poses so check them out. These poses do glide into position but it happens a bit too quickly in my opinion, so I would not use them for AOs or runway. However, there are great for photo-taking.

I have been invited to attend a Black & White New Year’s Eve Gala in RL. My dear friend is a party promoter/host and she will be moving abroad next year. This New Year’s Eve Gala would be the last of her famous parties, so with excitement and sadness, I opened my closet to plan the perfect outfit for the occasion.
New Year’s Eve parties can get out of control. At times too much alcohol and crazy crowds can turn an evening of fun to a disaster. Thus, I do not necessarily wear my best garments on New Year’s Eve. Also, I love dancing so I often choose something comfortable as well as something flattering to my body shape. In SL, we do not have such constraints to worry about, so we can let our imagination run and choose anything you want.
This year I have chosen a retro glam look for my New Year’s Eve festivities. I wanted to stay away from black which is a common choice for any black and white event. I wanted to wear white for a change. I did not want to look like a bride yet wanted to exude femininity. Midsummer Promise from Icing was just perfect. I added the Glam Stole, also from Icing. The stole is a perfect item to glam up any outfit. This is one of my best purchases this year. It can be tinted any color to match your outfit. It includes two ways of wearing it, over the shoulder or wrapped around. The best thing is that it comes with an AO so you don’t have to worry about your poses breaking up the stole in funny ways. Neckline looked a bit bare so added a choker. I could have chosen black pearls but wanted to keep the look fresh. Drop black pearl earrings, matching ring and black gloves complete the look with hair and makeup reminiscent of old Hollywood.
