Check out this gorgeous hair from D!va.  This is an instore group gift to celebrate 15000+ group members.  You need to activate your group tag and click on the panel at the store.  There is no cost to join the group and on the second floor you can find past group only gifts.  Today’s outfit was based on my new hair.  The long messy side ponytail is quite girly so went for a puffy skirt.  The skirt is actually part of a dress from Shush currently on sale for L$50.  I pulled out a simple top, also part of another outfit.  This one is from Last Call, no longer available.  Last Call is a brand I cherish and still wear.  Despite the outfits being 4-5 years old, they are still very current.  I would think of them as classic pieces.

Golden Belle

Today’s outfit was a bargain.  The gown I am wearing is a Sixty Linden Weekends special from Eluzion, a new store to me.  The vintage earrings are also a Sixty Linden Weekends item from Hatpins.  I am loving good bargains these days.  There so many sales and events.  It’s hard to keep track.  Check out the Penned Down The Rumor.  The writers of this website are dedicated to keep you up with all the weekly and special sales in the grid.  It’s a good reference source for those who love bargain shopping like me.

Amethyst

I am loving this new group gift from Purplemoon.  The deep purple color reminds me of amethyst, a type of quartz often used in jewelry.  Amethyst is mined in Korea, which is the country I am from, thus today’s styling was inspired by my Asian roots.  The coif is one of my favorites from JE*Republic, inspired by the intricate traditional Korean hairstyles.  The eye make up I am wearing today is from Grixdale, currently available for free for Super Bargain Saturday.  Be sure to pick it up along with other free eye makeups.  Make up layers add a lot of options to your favorite skin, in my case Curio’s Jasmine.

Under the Sea

When I heard Evie’s Closet had a special version of Lumina for sale at L$99, I rushed to get it.  It’s so delicate and fragile.  The detailing is amazing.  I had been eyeing this outfit since its release earlier this year at the RFL Fantasy Faire 2011.  I love everything about it, the delicate pearls, the scales, the fish tail…  If you are keen to keep your legs, check out Lumina Nymph version which comes with a floaty delicate skirt instead.

Savannah Nights

One of my friends was recently on a luxurious safari trip to Africa.  She showed me some beautiful pictures from her trip which inspired me to put together this look today.  I wish I had the time and money to go on such a journey in RL.  For now, traveling in SL will have to do.  The outfit I am wearing is from Vero Modero.  I love this avante garde outfit.  It’s a full set which includes the feathered neck piece, leopard print top and pants, and a pair of feathered boots.  The earrings and bangles are not part of the set, but I thought they go quite well with this outfit.  Oh well, I may not be on a safari trip, but at least I have this chic outfit and get to dream while I am wearing it.

Rock & Roll

It’s Saturday night and I am in the mood for some rock & roll.  I picked up this cute white feather cocktail dress from Unique Store for only L$49, pulled out my favorite rider’s jacket from Aoharu, added some funky accessories, and voila!  I am ready to rock!  The hair is new from Rosy Mood, currently on sale, 50% off, at Sannomiya Summer Festival.  The microphones are also new purchases from Olive Juice.  It’s a set of 6 microphones with rock star poses.  I love it and the set only costs L$50.  I don’t have a job in SL anymore, so I love finding good bargains these days.  :-)

Just a Casual Look

This is just a casual look I have been wearing around the grid lately.  Layering is something I quite love doing in RL so I gave it a try in SL.  I kept it quite simple though.  The undershirt is actually a cardigan I had in my inventory.  I thought the green check pattern contrasts nicely with my new T-shirt from Koketka.  I added some red accessories.  The watch and shoes are both from HOC Industries.  I love this little store.  It carries quite nice items at extremely affordable prices, great place to pick up some staples for your wardrobe.  The lowtops are actually scripted to change colors.  I love it!  The bag is also quite cheap, and scripted to change colors as well.  This one is from Izumiya.  The hair is new. I bought them at The Tropicalia Bazaar, another discount shop with items from various designers.  I guess that is the trend these days…  Anyways, at this rate I am going to be broke soon, but at least most of the items did not cost me an arm and a leg!

I Love Pink

I am loving this soft pink color on me these days.  I don’t usually wear pink so this is definitely refreshing.  The dress I am wearing is from House of Magoa.  I just recently found this cute store doing the Platinum Hunt.  I am sure many of you are familiar with the store, but having taken an extended break from SL I am a bit behind the curve.  Anyways, this dress immediately caught my attention.  The edgy unbalance skirt is a nice contrast to the feminine strapless top.  I feel feminine yet unique. I wish the dress was in all layers so I could mix and match with other stuff in my inventory.  Nonetheless, I still love it~  There are other colors available so check them out.

Flower Nymph

I started playing around a little more with photoshop lately, just a tid bit, smoothing out body contours and adding a bit of shadows to add a bit more depth to my pictures.  I am still a novice when it comes to photoshop so bear with me.  Today I experimented with adding make ups.  I love the face of Curio’s Jasmine line but I wanted a make up with more spring colors so decided to play around with photoshop a bit.  I quite like the outcome.  Perhaps I should create my own eye make up tattoo layers.  :-)

Pierrot

I am not much of a costume person but this pierrot outfit from Zibska got me in the mood today.  The outfit is on promotion for L$60 this weekend.  What a bargain!  The platform pumps are also new.  These are from Sakide.  I don’t usually like wearing such high platform shoes but I think these go well with today’s look.  Note all the poses used today for this post were free, BOOM opening hunt gifts.  They are hidden in popsicles along with other goodies around the store, pretty easy to find.
