As promised in my earlier post “Ivalde’s Challenge Part 1″, continuing the challenge set by Bealuh Mills for Ivalde, Neferia Abel’s creation, to showcase that Ivalde ISN’T JUST about vintage but its everyday fashion for every event, I will show you another 2 outfits of my choices. The first outfit I’m showing here is “Abela Brown Set” under the Ivalde Boutique range. This outfit is rather different with the usual Ivalde’s style and more of a high fashion look. I accessorised the outfit with gold “Pearl Strand Set” from Paper Couture and Stiletto Moody “Glam Bootie” in gold to give the overall a more glamourous look.
“Indridr Leo Dress” was my choice for my last outfit and also one of my favourite dress. The dress can be worn with the layered prim skirt to give the overall a soft feminine look or you can choose to look sophisticated by only wearing the system skirt. I had also decided to use the top blouse to mash it up and create into casual and vintage look to show how versatile and creative you can do with this outfit. I am honoured and had fun in doing this challenge, special thanks to Neferia and Beulah for giving me this opportunity to take part. Do check out Ivalde now and I am sure you will find something that you will like there.

I have picked up some great ethnic inspired pieces during my trips to different parts of the world. They add a bit of flavor to my everyday wardrobe making my look a bit more special and unique.
Today I spiced up my SL look with some ethnic touches. I started off with my new scarf from Runo Runo. This was a limited time freebie, but there are other colors available for sale at the store. Like other items in the store, they are extremely affordable. I picked out my silk print harem pants from AU V and a plain white sleeveless t-shirt from Roll the Dice. The t-shirt can be tinted any color and it’s available in all layers. It is versatile, a good basic item for your wardrobe. I tossed on a denim cropped jacket from Bare Rose for warmth.
Going along with ethnic flavors, I chose to wear my Indian bangles from Yak & Yeti. Yak & Yeti carries clothing and jewelry from Nepal, India and Tibet, all for free. Make sure you check out this store to add some interesting pieces to your inventory. The earrings are from Last Call. They are no longer available, but check out (luc) Fashion Jewelry for similar styles. The bag is a new release from Bare Rose. Bellisima reminds me of my everyday bag in RL. For shoes, I went with an unexpected choice, Gladiator sandals from UnTone Quilt. Lastly, I decided to wear my aviator sunglasses from Hoorenbeek. These were a previous gift. Fully scripted version (3 colors, 2 kinds of shades on each color, 2 frame options) is available at the store.
A casual ponytail from ETD and one of my favorite make-ups from Cupcakes Lovespell finish off today’s casual look. This look is very me. Oh I can’t wait for warmer days so I can wear this look in RL~

Ivalde is one of my favourite stores inworld and everytime when I need to look for vintage and retro wear, I will immediately think of Ivalde. I received a notecard from Beulah Mills, inviting me to participate in her challenge, to pick up any outfit from Ivalde, put the outfit together with my choices showcasing that Ivalde ISN’T JUST about vintage but its everyday fashion for every event.
The first outfit I chose was “Laika White Dress”. I fell in love with this outfit the moment I saw and and its versatile enough for me to put into 3 different looks. Using only the shirt, I had decided to mix and mash with other items for the elegant look and the smart casual. The centre look is the original design and I had added the mini top hat from Juicy to spice up the whole look to make it more chic and fun. I’ll show you another 2 outfits in the next post and I hope you will like them.

I have an addictive personality. I recently started playing Mafia Wars on Facebook, a new addiction, and hence the inspiration behind today’s outfit.
I overdid the mannish fashion look by teaming up grey pin stripe pants from Last Call and shirt with tie from JE*Republic. Although Last Call is no longer available, I often wear pieces from Last Call as it still is one of my favorite clothing brands in SL. The shirt is a new release from JE*Republic. It’s unisex and prim tie is included in the set. I added a vest from Cupcakes and the fedora hair from TorridWear to maximize the mafioso look. The jacket on the shoulder is a fun item I picked up from Polina Kaestner. It’s scripted with a hold pose.
For the rest of the outfit, I picked out more feminine options. The red Chanel-like bag is a gift from my friend Kazunari Mayo. Unfortunately, it is not available for sale. The simple red pumps from Maitreya go perfectly with the bag. For jewelry, I picked out some bold earrings from Opium Everyday and a zebra pattern bangle from +plus.
One last thing, the skin is a preview copy of Naive‘s Camille Skins. Leah McCullough was really kind to send me some samples. If you are looking for a more defined facial features, check them out.

I love fashion in SL as I can wear any kind of fashions that I like irregardless of weather, age, colours and sizes that we have to consider in RL. I had decided to create a fun look and play with colours today.
I was hanging out the other day with my friend, Aradia Dielli, when her floral print dress caught my eyes and I asked her where did she purchased the dress from. Thanks for her tip, I teleport to Maria Bonita, where she bought it. Initially I thought it was a small store and was surprised to find there were far more than I expected. Today’s outfit was one of my shopping buy from there and I love it for its cuteness and the colourful little floral prints near the collar. Outfit comes with a black turtle neck sweater and the dress that you can choose to wear together or seperately. I chose to wear them together.
I paired the dress with one of my favourite boots from Gbberish and wore this cute girly side ponytail hair from Junwave. To add in more fun factor into this look, I chose this heart shaped sunglass and also attached a small little panda shoulder pet from PF. Credits as follows:
Outfit: Maria Bonita (Lee Loo) – little flowers pink outfit
Hair: Junwave – Sidetail Hair (Brown)

There are some items in my SL inventory I would not wear or buy in RL, mainly because of practicality or because it simply does not suit me. Such is the case with some of the items I am wearing today, like the cargo pants, the athletic heels, and the baseball cap. When it comes to casual clothes, I am more of a jeans girl not cargo pants, and although I am all for heels, the idea of athletic heels is just not my cup of tea. However, in SL, I am often tempted to step out of my comfort zone and try out different styles just for fun.
Today I imitated Hyori‘s style. Lee Hyori is one of the most popular female singer in K-Pop. Baggy pants, aviator sunglasses, and baseball caps are key pieces for her signature look. Here I decided to recreate her style by choosing the Low Rise Heavy Cargo pants from Bare Rose. Like most Bare Rose items, Low Rise Heavy Cargo set contains various color options. The set comes with five different color pants and two different color cropped tanks. I picked out the black cargo pants today. These pants are really baggy. Baggy pants can be very unflattering, but if worn right it can be quite stylish. Hyori does it best by wearing these with a simple tank top. I am wearing Lindsay from JE*Republic. I did accessorize the look with some colorful bangles. I tossed away my usual clutches and handbags for a casual backpack from Izumiya. The shoes are from Redgrave, Athlete Heels, definitely something you would see Hyori wear. For makeup, I went for smokey eyes, Megan B Natural from Rockberry, a lucky chair prize. Hair is from Sixty-Nine. I let it loose wearing a baseball cap just like Hyori would. I should have added some aviator sunglasses but I wanted to show off my smokey eyes so I left those in the bag.

Today I was invited to attend Jungeun Vella’s birthday party at her club Vella Lux. For those who do not know Jungeun, she is the designer behind JE*Republic, a close friend and one of the sweetest and most talented person I have met in SL. For this special occasion, I chose to wear one of Jungeun’s creation, a sexy mini dress called Glam Elegance. It’s her latest release and I love it! I could not think of any better shoes to wear this dress with than some sexy strappy heels from Stiletto Moody. Of course I have to carry a clutch for the evening. This one is a group gift from Fabulous. Adding more glam, I pulled out one of my first purchases in SL, a white fur bolero from SF Design. After almost 2 years, it is still sitting in my inventory. It’s club night, so some bold earrings from LeeZu! seemed most appropriate. Hair, I kept it clean, tied back in a modern pony tail from Aden. Make-up I went a bit wild with this special edition skin from LionSkins. Lion Jonesford created 7 special make-ups for Valentine’s. These special skins are only L$600 each and only for sale for one week. So hurry!
I am ready to party! Roar~

I am going for something sweet yet casual today. I love everything I’m wearing today and they are something I will definitely love in RL. When I learnt that MG Fashion is going to released this high waist pant/body suit called Jersey Girl, I was full of anticipation and delight. I rushed immediately to purchase the suit when it was released. I love the texture and sweet design. The pants and the high waist parts come in all layers, perfect for mix and matching. I matched with one of my favourite sheer lace top from Pixel Dolls – Anticipation, wearing only the shirt layer. The lace blouse has puffy cuff sleeves which looked so feminine, with the lace trimmings on the sleeves and around the neckline. This yummy knit stole is from SD Boutique and is my absolute favourite stole now.

Today I decided to bring a bit of my RL work wardrobe to SL. I work for an extremely conservative financial institution, where a navy blue, grey or black suit and pumps are the usual attire for the staff. I am a bit unorthodox and thankfully management has accepted my unconventional ways of dressing. When I say unconventional by all means I do not mean outrageous, but I do play around with colors and accessories to make my everyday work wardrobe a bit more fun.
To create today’s look I chose a purple knit cardigan from A-Bomb and a grey bermuda shorts from Pink Outfitters. My avatar has unrealistically long and lean legs so I am wearing purple stockings from Shiny Things. Wearing color stockings especially with contrasting shoes and shorts chop up the legs, making you look shorter. A more appropriate choice for RL would have been stockings in similar tones as the shorts and shoes, black or dark grey, which would give the illusion of longer legs.
For accessories, I added a black slim belt from Artilleri for a more polished look. The little scarf from eLDee adds a bit of feminine twist. Silver earrings and bangle from MiamMiam are understated yet elegant. The big birkin bag, a recreation of Hermes classic, is a gift from my friend Kazunari Mayo. It is not available for sale but any bag in similar shape and size could be a stylish way of replacing a briefcase. For shoes, I opted for slim ankle boots from Style Starts Here! I bought these a while back but never really had a chance to wear them. I love the silhouette of these boots. I wish I had them in RL.
Hair & make-up, I am back to my short hair, this time Edie from Aden. Make-up I am sticking to Cupcakes Lovespell line, currently on sale, buy 1 get 1 free till Valentine’s Day. Oh I wish waited a few days before I bought them.

Someone asked me today if I ever wear sneakers. It’s a valid question since I wear heels most of the time. Sneakers make up a tiny portion of my RL shoe collection. Actually the only pair of sneakers outside of those I wear to workout at the gym are my Converse. So today I recreated what I would typically wear with my Converse. It’s actually quite simple, a good pair of jeans and a cute t-shirt, just like these I picked up from Pink Outfitters. Pink Outfitters carries some really cute items and it’s currently on sale, everything L$50 each!!! I think it’s till Feb 14th so make sure to stop by. I went crazy and bought almost everything in that store. Thanks Fann for giving me a heads up!
For shoes, I pulled out my hi-tops from Urban Bomb Unit, my favorite sneakers in SL. Accessories were kept simple, just a simple red bag from ETD to match my shoes, a charm bracelet from Juicy, and a pair of sunglasses from Kalnins Sunglasses.
I let my hair down, braided loosely on the side. It’s a new hairstyle I picked up from Fascino, also on sale. Single packs have been slashed to L$50 each. So many great bargains… I am going broke. Anyways, for make-up, I chose Tuesday from Cupcakes’ new line, Lovespells, a natural make-up perfect for today’s casual look.
Note, poses used today for the pictures are from the AO included in the bag.
